FDJ has served as expert witness on hundreds of accident-reconstruction cases and has over 25 years of combined experience performing accident-reconstruction in the northwestern United States and Idaho.  We use state-of-art technology combined with our engineering expertise and experience to document, analyze, and reconstruct each accident.  We combine aerial photography with site measurements to provide an accurate and detailed depiction of the accident scene.  Aerial photography and measurements are imported into HVE software by Engineering Dynamics Corporation, which is utilized for our accident analysis and reconstruction.

Interactive Multiplex Document - FDJ has pioneered a method that reduces the effort required by our customers to understand and identify the key elements of our accident reconstruction and significantly reduces case review time.  IMD, short for Interactive Multiplex Document, is our preferred method of information presentation and storage.  In short, we take all of our documentation, analysis, photography and simulations and combine them into an interactive document viewable with Internet Explorer that greatly reduces review time and aids in our clients understanding of key accident components.  Site photographs are overlaid onto the aerial photograph at corresponding locations for easy and intuitive access.  Report exhibits are linked with Internet Explorer and can be viewed at leisure without having to shuffle through piles of paper.   This method yields intuitive and accurate results.  If you would like an example IMD to be sent to you please email our office at and include your mailing address.
